Replacement steps:
1.The sensor is located in the upper left corner of the microwave. Mine was inside a metal cage to the left of the charcoal filter which you normally replace when the filter light is displayed.
2.Had to take out 2 screws holding the cage together. The sensor is located within the cage. Once the screws are removed you can open the cage up on one side to expose the sensor.
3.One side of the cage (right side) has a slip fit which will open up by gently prying it apart.
4.Carefully remove the Plastic Collar holder and save it. To remove a damaged sensor, you need to pull it out from the socket in parallel to avoid breakage of the pins and leaving them in the socket, causing the wiring harness to become unusable.
5.Insert the new sensor into the socket and secure the sensor with the Plastic Collar bracket. If collar is not used then vibrations from normal microwave use could loosen the sensor from the socket.
If your microwave oven has fault codes such as “E-11”, “C-11” And “C-3” or “C-10”, it is most likely that the gas humidity sensor component has failed.
